In response to the digital information era and the AI wave, digital technologies are rapidly reshaping Taiwan’s industrial ecosystem and people’s daily lives. Governments worldwide have set up dedicated agencies to address these changes.

The Chinese Association of Government and Public Affairs and the Taiwan Association for Local Governance Studies are co-hosting a forum on this important topic and development trend, inviting scholars and experts in government digitalization, digital information service providers, and civil society advocates of digital governance.

This event, titled “Digital Transformation Strategies for Local Governments Facing the AI Wave,” will explore the current state of local government digitalization in Taiwan and its practical applications. Participants will engage in a comprehensive discussion to identify improvement strategies that can help deepen the effectiveness of local governance in Taiwan.
